Sleepless in DC

Instead of popping a Lunesta I thought I’d try some blogging. It occurred to me today that I now know how my mom felt all those years before going back to teaching after Xmas break–pure dread. That’s how I feel tonight. That in addition, to my internal struggle with “selling out” to a place I don’t respect and fundamentally disagree with their methods and philosophies. I’ve done the pro/con list on this teaching gig and there are clearly more cons than pros,but still I can’t pull the trigger and walk away.
